BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's basketball seasons are just around the corner. FAU's inaugural Paradise Madness basketball preseason event is set for Friday, Oct. 29, the night before the homecoming football game. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with programming commencing at 6 p.m. at Abessinio Court at FAU Arena.
 
The event is free and open to the public.
 
Here are some events that will take place:

• Men's and women's team introductions
• Coach Jennifer Sullivan and Dusty May introduce the upcoming season
• Cheer/dance performance
• 3-point shootoff fan contest (women vs. women, men vs. men and winner of women vs. winner of men)
• Dunk contest
• FAU Director of Athletics and Vice President Brian White's remarks
