TFTV Presents The Climate Project – A Powerful New Work on Climate Change

The University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film & Television (TFTV) proudly presents The Climate Project, an original work of physical theatre that explores the urgent issue of climate change in the Sonoran Desert and beyond. Free performances will take place at the Tornabene Theatre from September 25 to 28, 2025.

Devised by Theatre students together with faculty member Rick Wamer, The Climate Project reflects on environmental transformation and human impact. The workshop production features a twenty-member ensemble whose performance is the result of a year’s worth of collaborative research and creative exploration.

TFTV presents Vanities: the Musical

Previews of Vanities: the Musical will begin this Sunday, September 28 in the Marroney Theatre.

Directed by Associate Professor Christie Kerr, Vanities chronicles the life-affirming journey of three vivacious Texas teens from cheerleaders to sorority sisters to housewives to liberated women and beyond.

The show is a funny and poignant look at three best friends who discover that, through thirty years of rapidly changing times, the one thing they can rely on is each other.

Performances run from Sept. 28 to Oct. 12. All college and high school students are eligible for $5 student rush tickets.
